Tale
Tale is a single-player narrative adventure where two children narrate the player’s journey as they explore a mystical and ever-changing world. Throughout the game, subtle hints and environmental storytelling reinforce its imaginative setting, immersing the player in the experience.
This project was also my first time creating a character controller in Unity. As a result, the movement and controls may feel a bit janky compared to my later projects. However, this experience was invaluable in helping me understand player mechanics and refine my future work.

Overview
Setting & Inspiration
The game takes place entirely within the imagination of two children, who use their toys to craft an adventurous and challenging world through roleplay. As the player progresses, the children’s voices guide the experience, narrating each encounter, obstacle, and discovery.
This concept draws heavy inspiration from story-driven games, where world-building and narrative depth are the core focus. While the mechanics may not be as polished due to my learning process, the narrative-driven experience remains the heart of the game.
